Washington Reining Horse Association will host three shows and partner with Reining Horse Association of the Northwest for a fourth show for the 2014 show schedule.   Kicking off the season will be the Spring Fling and Derby to be held April 10 – 14 at the Appleatchee Riding Club in Wenatchee.  Feature classes for the show will be Open and Non Pro Derbies, open to horses four, five and six years old.   Next will be The Classic, May 29 – June 1, at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.  Features classes are to be determined but historically have been Open or Non Pro, or Maturity classes open to horses seven years or older.

While the Spring Fling and Classic both offer multiple slates of many classes, Washington Reining Horse Association will again partner with Reining Horse Association of the Northwest to utilize the July 11  – 13 show in Moses Lake as a third qualifying show for purpose of qualifying for the NRHA Regional Affiliate Finals only.   Rounding out the season for Washington Reining Horse Association will be the Fall Spectacular and Futurity scheduled for October 3 – 5 at the Appleatchee Riding Club in Wenatchee.   An NRHA Affiliate, Washington Reining Horse Association shows offer a full slate of NRHA classes, plus multiple classes open to horses without an NRHA competition license and riders who are not NRHA members.   Show details and class rules may be found on the Washington Reining Horse Association website, wrha.net, or on Facebook
