Training and Caring for Horses Fosters Spiritual Growth
By Stonewater Staff
Mustangs Jackson and Dally have acclimated extremely well to their new lives here at Stonewater ranch. Both are now halter trained and will make their debut trips outside of their paddock and round pen areas soon.
Walking into their paddocks each day reminds us of how deeply God wants a relationship with us. He steps into our world every day just to be with us. He wants us to grow and mature into something more than we can comprehend for ourselves.
Jackson and Dally have no way of understanding the potential we see in them. Every single thing we do with them leaves an imprint that will stay with them all their days. And as their handlers, we desire only the very best — for them and of them. Talk about faith parallels! It’s amazing to experience and share such tangible lessons here at the ranch. I’m sure there will be many more as we continue the training process with these two special mustangs.
