Back Country Horsemen of Washington 2013 Rendezvous will be held on March 15, 16, & 17 at the Kittitas Valley Event Center (the fairgrounds), 512 N Poplar Street, Ellensburg WA 98926. This event is open to the public. Barb Apple of Barb Apple Horse Play LLC, Master Horseman will be featured at BCHW’s Rendezvous offering a practical cowboy dressage clinic for trail horses. The clinic will be held on Friday & Saturday, March 15 & 16. Other Rendezvous events include wine tasting, tack consignment sale, vendor booths, Dutch oven cooking competition (for the non-pro only held March 15 & 16), and a photo contest. Saturday, March 16 will include social time, auction, dinner and dance with Ellensburg’s own Dave Rawlinson Band with Dave and Sasha performing authentic country, western, and country-rock music (Reservations for dinner are recommended. Space is limited). Free classes and demonstrations are open to the public and include primitive trails and skills education with Robert “Trail Meister” Eversole on the topic Staying found on the Trail.
