Blazer Presence is Growing in the Northwest!
The ABHA expanded their foot print at this year’s Expo. We doubled the size of our booth and had a horse stall on each end. Horses were rotated twice a day and varied in size, color and age. A total of twelve Blazer Horses were shown at our booth. The new set-up generated a lot of traffic to our booth. We gave out information about the breed and a lot of free posters for the children. Five people joined the ABHA including the new owners of two Blazers sold in the Blue Ribbon sale. Many folks participated in our fund raisers. We had the Blazer stallion Tonka’s Legacy owned by Donna and Lou Kelleher in the stallion parade and two Blazers competed in the open division of the Supreme Cowboy Race. Darcy Tonto-Zemp and her horse DJ took second place and Lorin Price rode Legacy on two days preparation and finished in 8th place out of a field of 17 competitors. Darcy and DJ also competed for their first time in the All Breed Challenge. We would like to thank Trish Vranish for her hard work organizing and setting up our booth. Helping her were Angie Magoffin, Deb Cox and Tammy Warr, who also worked very hard getting donations for our fund raising efforts. Thank you to our wonderful Blazer family for bringing in horses and helping with the ABHA and Idaho Horse Council booths. We could not do what we do without you.
