“Wild Lands Wild Horses” Pilot Episode Wins Awards from IndieFEST Film Awards

Jamie Baldanza and Deb Lee Carson recently won two prestigious Awards of Merit from the IndieFEST Film Awards for their docuseries “Wild Lands Wild Horses”. The exciting docuseries creates a greater awareness and understanding of the delicate balance our remaining wild/public lands are faced with.

“Wild Lands Wild Horses” features exceptional cinematography of wild horses in their environment as well as input from scientists, BLM employees, forest and park service employees, ranchers, public officials, advocates, recreational users, miners, and any others who are willing to provide their experience and connection to our public lands.

After completing the pilot episode, “Wild Lands Wild Horses” is now looking for a network or streaming service to finish the series. They hope to continue their mission to document America’s most elusive free-roaming wild herds to help reach those millions of Americans who do not know of their existence and the public lands they live on. They will also be featuring a story of an adopted wild horse in each episode.

Jamie Baldanza is a professional equine photographer and filmmaker dedicated to preserving America’s wild horses. To learn more about Jamie’s work visit www.thismustanglife.com. Deb Lee Carson is a photographer and artist with more than 50 years of equine reproductive experience. Her new work is called Wild and Untethered.
