John Wayne Pioneer Wagons and Riders Association is a non- profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the historic John Wayne Pioneer Trail in Washington state. The trail is over 200 miles and follows the route of the former Milwaukee railroad, running east/west across WA State. The ride begins May 18th  in Easton and ends  June 3rd  in Tekoa, WA. We invite you to participate in a unique, organized wagon train experience for individuals and families. Ride and sojourn through forests, desert, prairies, ranches, and alongside rivers and lakes. Cross over train trestles and forge through tunnels. Saddle up your horse, hitch up your team, ride your bicycle or walk. Enjoy the experience on your own or with a group. Towns welcome participants and historic clubs, church members, and 4-H clubs provide us with tasty home cooked meals and desserts in exchange for a donation to their group. Enjoy live activities and entertainment like cowboy poetry, guitar pickin’, comedy skits, riding in a parade, campfires, and many evenings visiting with old and new friends or just relaxing at your campsite. Come for the entire two weeks or just a few days! For more information or to register for this cross state ride please contact Jay Adams, 253-370-8325 or Dar Brady 509-899-1066.
