The Northwest Horse Fair and Expo 2015 gallops into Albany, OR March 20-22 at Albany’s Linn County Fair and Expo Center. One low ticket price provides attendees with entrance and access to all events including clinics, entertainment, presentations, workshops, trade show shopping and a chance to see horses up and close and personal.

The expo features presentations by world-class clinicians, horse trainers and riders, who will join the event from across the United States. Among the experts giving daily workshops, demos and clinics are: Ken McNabb, Julie Goodnight and Steve Rother, among others.

Two new action-packed events this year are a dock dog diving competition and a ranch rodeo.  X-Treme AirDogs will host the dock dog event. It will combine first time competitors with their elite “Rock Star” K-9 handler teams and feature dogs running full speed down a dock and leaping into a pool of water showcasing jumping, speed and retrieving abilities. This is a great addition to the expo since so many horse lovers are dog lovers too. A ranch rodeo will also be held on Friday and Saturday, spotlighting teams of four cowboys, competing in four ranch rodeo events over two days. The expo will also present a wide variety of equine entertainment including the popular Equine Extravaganza on Sunday afternoon.

KMTR Youth Day will once again be offered on Sunday. Young horse lovers aged 12 and under get in free when accompanied by a paying adult, plus 4-H and Pony Club members aged 13 to 18 get in free with their club ID cards.
