National Trails Day

Back Country Horsemen of Washington hopes this letter finds you doing well.  As we all know, COVID-19 restrictions have impacted BCHW’s ability to hold meetings.  I assure you our great officers and chairs are still working to keep our organization on a solid path to fulfill our Mission Statement in 2020.  BCHW members have done reconnaissance on problem trails and are ready to do some trail work. We are just waiting for the land managers to give us a green light to hit the trails hard with the work that needs to get done.

Because of COVID-19, BCHW was not able to hold our big annual Rendezvous fundraiser and we need your help to keep our organization and work going.  So, as you enjoy the 2020 National Trails Day this June 6th, please keep us in mind and donate to our cause of keeping the trails open. Whether you donate $5 or $500, every little bit helps. Any help you can share with us is greatly appreciated.

Along with your donation, we would love to hear about your favorite trails and what work you have noticed that needs to be done.  Pictures are always welcome.  If you are one of our fantastic volunteers that works on the trail, we would love to see pictures of the equipment and supplies you have ready to go, along with a description of the work you have planned for when you are finally able to hit the trails again.
Please email your letters and pictures to [email protected].

Please send donations to:

Or you can go to BCHW.org and donate on our website.
