Washington Assoc. of Competitive Mounted Orienteering

Competitive Mounted Orienteering is a timed event using a map and compass to find hidden objectives on horse-back. You can compete as an individual or in teams.
All riders are welcome. Bring your own horse, feed, lunch & compass. Pre-ride compass instruction available.

$15.00 per adult member per day
$10.00 per adult member riding with a junior and $10.00 per junior rider
$20.00 per non-member adult day rider which includes $15.00 ride fee and $5.00 for insurance

Directions-
From the North: Take Hwy 512 east, follow Hwy 7 (23 miles) Hwy 161 (Meridian) south (12 miles) Turn right onto 304th Street (3 miles). Turn left onto Hwy 7 (10 miles). Turn right onto Mashel Prairie Road. ¼ mile to parking under power lines.
From Yelm: Follow Hwy 702 to Hwy 7 (10 miles). Turn right onto Hwy 7 (10 miles). Turn right onto Mashel Prairie Road. ¼ mile to parking under power lines.
From Elbe: Follow Hwy 7 for 12 miles. Turn left onto Mashel Prairie Road. ¼ mile to parking under power lines.
