Ticket holders may attend the Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm on Friday, September 23rd. Live Music by Silver Mountain String Band.
All ticket holders also receive a unique, quality keep-sake SLOPOKE Art Book presenting a profile and some of the art of each exhibiting artist.
Parking on the ranch is free and viewing the horses on these beautiful grounds while looking at western art is an added attraction.
The mission of the SLOPOKE is to bring back a high-end art show to the Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara County and to exhibit on the Central Coast the quality of art and artist normally seen in large art shows in the big cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Hosted by: Flag Is Up Farms in Solvang, CA. This venue is the thoroughbred horse ranch owned and operated by Monty “the horse whisperer” Roberts and his equine sculptor and equestrian wife Pat Roberts.
