North American Trail Ride Conference

We are a non-profit organization incorporated in 1961, with over 1,000 members. Through clinics, seminars, brochures, publications and sanctioning of competitive trail rides (following our Rule Book), we educate and evaluate riders in the care and riding of equines over long distances on all kinds of terrain and in all kinds of weather conditions for multiple days. At our annual convention, we present awards for horse and rider achievement. We also grant funds for trail development, and issue educational loans and scholarships to young adults seeking an equine related degree.
