April Pickering

April was born on April Fool’s Day 1999. She is a registered Quarter Horse mare. She has had a lifetime of experiences because her owner, Karen has taken her to so many different events. She has participated in Quarter Horse shows, reining shows, a reined cowhorse show, extreme/ mountain trail, trail riding and her favorite—ranch sorting. Recently, she began visiting Faith Equestrian Center to give rides to kids attending CTK Horsemen’s Association as well as Veteran’s night, giving rides to veterans and their families. She has a life of purpose so she’s a happy horse. (Bio picture by Hal Cook)
