Enumclaw saddle shop with a personal touch

Mike’s Western Suppliers is a full-service western saddlery, tack and apparel company based in Enumclaw, Wash., plus an on-line business that has the same brick-and-mortar approach and appeal. Mike Wright and his wife, Cindy Lou, who operates C L Western Apparel (the “software” side of the Mike’s hardware business), are personally involved in every aspect of the business and pride themselves on their high level of personalized customer care.

Western saddles are a specialty, and Mike still helps walk-in customers and on-line clients in the selection process. “Most horses today aren’t getting fit properly with saddles. I try and fix that and make a horse happy,” he says.

Among the many saddle brands sold are Billy Cook, Bob’s Custom, Crates, Circle Y and Tucker. Mike also carries used saddles and antique saddles, along with all the tack, accessories and ranch supplies that any serious horseman might need. If he doesn’t have it, Mike says, “I can get it for you.”
