Barb has taught many years across the US, Canada, and Europe, helping riders create a bond with their horses that is safe, playful and based on a mutual trust & understanding of each other's intent, needs and comfort.

Barb's own experience is gained from her unending quest to better her own understanding of the horse-human dynamics.  She has studied under a variety of teachers, including such notable trainers as Pat Parelli and Tom Dorrance, Jack Brainard, as well as being a Sally Swift Centered Riding® Instructor to help riders improve, confidence, balance and lightness in the saddle.  From this broad experience comes her unique ability to assess horse and rider needs.

For two-legged partners, there's a hot tub, a warm, welcoming Bunkhouse facility, acres of pastures, trees and unspoiled nature, perfect for quiet reflection and peaceful walks.  The amenities of the bunkhouse invite guests to drop the cares and stress of daily life and allow them selves to just “BE."  Not being in a hurry is one of the many tools Barb teaches to help enrich the relationship with equine partners.  Both horse and human benefit from her relaxed thoughtful approach.
