Thanks to growing support from individuals like you in the horse community, we're in the process of making several facilities improvements with plans for more in 2012.   Here's a brief recap of what's taking place:

43_07_29_2012Fence around Area E.   This is our largest arena at 250' x 250' and we're installing a 4' high treated pine post and rail fence with 6 gate openings to provide maximum flexibility for configuring activities and use of grooming equipment.

Cross Country is Kicking into Gear!   Before the ground froze, we cleared, graded and seeded 900 meters of galloping tracks in the derby field . The Northwest Region Pony Clubs pledged to build the water complex in the derby field and already raised $10,500 by selling Christmas wreaths, arranging benefit clinics, and a variety of other creative ideas - you go kids!

Equestrians Institute has pledged $30,000 in cash and 17 portable jumps to start developing the cross-country competition course on an adjacent 105 acres. And  eventing enthusiast Penny Leggott has pledged a matching gift totaling up to $25,000 for any new individual or group donating $500 or more for the competition course.   A sincere "Thank You!" to these clubs and individuals for leading the way!

Water Fill Station.   Up until now, our water truck contractor has had to drive to South Cle Elum for every load of water, but now we've built our own fill station by arena C.   This will cut down on both time and expense while improving service to our customers.

This is just a sampling of all the activity going on as we prepare for a busy 2012 season. Check out our Calendar on the website to see what events are already booked and start making plans to visit the Park - we open in April and that's just a few months away!
