The art company many of us horse lovers have come to know and love, The Trail of Painted Ponies, is sponsoring a new National Art Competition in celebration of 10 years of horses in art. With more than $10,000 in awards, and the chance that your design may be made into the next figurine for The Trail of Painted Ponies, this is a competition you don’t want to miss.

Reach inside and find your inner artist to create a great new design. The competition requires no submission fee, is open to everyone and you can submit as many ideas as you want. There are six themes to choose from for this competition. These themes include: Native American, The American West, Patriotic, American Country, Inspirational and Artist’s Choice.

The deadline is May 1st 2011.
