Six Northwest cow horse trainers share friendship and advice as the countdown to the Snaffle Bit Futurity begins
A Note from Allison:
With futurity season nearing, many of us can’t think about anything other than getting our three year olds ready for Reno and the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, the Mecca of the cowhorse world. The Northwest has many fine representatives entered in the SBF this year. Some of these entrants are trainers I have previously introduced you to in this column.
When I decided I wanted this edition to talk about the futurity process, I was lucky enough to come across an extremely well written article, by Stephanie Duquette, that perfectly covered the topic. Stephanie was gracious enough to let me share this wonderful article that will show you how some of our best trainers are preparing themselves for the big event.
