NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) is offering online registration for the 2007Annual Meeting and National Conference, November 14-17 in Anaheim, California, in order to make conference registration more convenient. Now NARHA members and guests can plan their conference experience and register on the NARHA website (www.NARHA.org) by following the homepage link to the National Conference information.
The NARHA National Conference and Annual Meeting is the largest event targeted at the ever-growing field of equine assisted activities (EAA). The conference features an impressive array of educational sessions presented by industry experts and culminates with the annual awards banquet designed to celebrate the innovation, diligence, and sometimes miraculous accomplishments in the EAA industry. Craig Cameron’s Extreme Cowboy RaceTM Comes to Oregon
Craig Cameron will not only present clinics at the 2008 Northwest Horse Fair & Expo in Albany, Oregon, scheduled for March 28-30, but he will conduct his Extreme Cowboy Race™ each day at the event. The Extreme Cowboy Race™—as seen on RFD-TV— is a timed and judged race through an obstacle course that is designed not only to push horse and rider teams out of their traditional “comfort zones,” but also to test communication between horse and rider and the horsemanship skills and athletic abilities of each competitor. Spectators will find the competition exciting and entertaining while contenders will address its challenges in a race for $7,200 in cash prizes and the title of “Extreme Cowboy Race Champion.”
American Riding Instructors Association 2007 Annual Award Nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2007 ARIA awards. The Top 50 Instructors for 2007, who have already been named and who are listed at www.riding-instructor.com, will also be honored. All nominations must be submitted by e-mail (preferred), post, or courier, and must include a nomination letter and at least 2 high-quality photographs of the person or horse that are suitable for publication and must include a photographer’s release if not taken by the sender.
