Top Trainers In Head-To-Head Challenge At Mane Event

Chris Irwin (pictured), Doug Mills and Jay O’Jay, who have international reputations for their natural approach to training, are competing at the first ever Mane Event Trainers Challenge at the Mane Event Equine Education and Trade Fair this fall.

The Trainers Challenge is a three-day event at Chilliwack’s Heritage Park October 21 – 23. The trainers are introduced to a group of 2-year-old unbroken horses, similar in development and temperament. A random draw determines which individual horse each trainer works with over the next three days under the watchful eyes of judges and audience members.

The Mane Event is also packed with clinics and activities, including presentations by U.S. Equestrian Team dressage competitor and trainer Jane Savoie and Canadian Olympic Showjumper Beth Underhill, as well as Tim “the Trail Man” Kimura. For further event information and sponsorship opportunities contact: Info@maneeventexpo.com or (250) 578-7518.
