Go Have Fun with Your Horse!

Life on the back of a good horse can be fun! It’s finding the right horse, getting the right training and getting out on the trails. It doesn’t matter who we are or how long we’ve been riding, we can all learn something new. This month’s issue is dedicated to recreational riding – having fun with your horse. We’ve got advertiser’s who offer great places to stay and ride, writers who share their knowledge and experiences about horses, new products on the market and people who can help you with your horse. So take some time to read, and then hit the trails!

This time of year we can start enjoying life in nature more readily. There is nothing more calming and refreshing than experiencing life from the back of your horse. It’s a great opportunity to free your mind from the everyday clutter and rejuvenate your soul. So get yourself and your horse in shape and make use of the incredible riding opportunities we have in the great Northwest.

We had a great time at the Northwest Equine Expo in Albany, Oregon. It was great to see such a variety of breeds, vendors and horse people! The show was well attended and there was a variety of things for show attendees to do from Clinics to Trick Riding to Breed demonstrations. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend this fine event, plan on next year. We especially enjoy visiting with clients that attend the show and fostering new relationships.

We always appreciate reader feedback. If you have a particular writer you’d like to hear from or style of riding you’d like to learn more about, let us know.

June is our annual tack & equipment issue. Look for great ideas on horse tack and great places to buy all the equipment you need for your horse.

Have a great month. I hope to see you on the trail someday soon!
