A Royal Visit : Aqha’s Only Living Supreme Champion Visits The World Show By Christine Hamilton, Field Editor, The Journal
Lucks Easyfanta Boy, one of only two living AQHA Supreme Champions, made a special appearance at the World Show finals November 13th. The 17-year-old stallion strutted through the arena ridden by new owner Jim Wells of Onalaska, Washington.
AQHA Supreme Champions must have earned points in halter and performance classes and earned two or more racing speed index ratings of 90 or higher. Lucks Easyfanta Boy earned his Register of Merit in racing, halter and performance, competing in working cow horse, roping and reining. There have been only 46 horses to earn the honor since it began in 1967; none have earned it since 1997.
The stallion earned his championship under the ownership of Cindy and Ed Henderson; they sold the horse to Wells in March of this year. Wells had been looking for a Supreme Champion to breed to. Through a round of phone calls, Wells finally contacted the Hendersons and had a long conversation with Cindy.
Wells breeds using horses at his place south of Seattle and has a band of broodmares with Peppy San, Poco Tivio, Skipper W and Sugar Bars breeding. “I wanted a versatile stallion that has done a bunch of different things,” he said. Revolutionary Comfort Stall Mattress System

Tundra Sales Equine Fencing and Barn Equipment is proud to introduce the patented Comfort Stall Mattress System.

Outdoor pasture, the natural environment for the horse, is both resilient and comfortable. Stable floors are hard and unforgiving, requiring several inches of bedding material to create a suitable environment. This amount of bedding is unnatural and can intensify dust-related health problems. In addition, it is costly and labor intensive, consuming valuable time that could be spent working with your horse, rather than working for your horse.

Your horse spends most of its life standing. Why not provide the best possible indoor environment to ensure optimum leg and joint health for overall comfort?

Benefits for you and your horse:

*Comfort stall provides remedial, therapeutic flooring for your horse while standing and a comfortable, even surface while lying down – decreasing the injury rehabilitation schedule and aiding in loosening stiff joints.

*The equine performance industry reports less leg fatigue and a reduction in tissue fluid accumulation with Comfort Stall.

*Reduce bedding usage by up to 75% without sacrificing horse comfort.

*Comfort Stall’s wall-to-wall installation means dirty bedding stays on top where it can be easily removed and can inhibit the production of bacteria.

Custom Stall is the most ergonomic, efficient and economical stall flooring available. Through savings in bedding, labor, maintenance and veterinarian costs, the Comfort Stall system pays for itself in approximately one year!
