This isn't really Bits and Bytes, but for those of you who look forward to this column every month, we wanted to invite you to join us in bidding a fond farewell to Doug DeVries and the Big Fresh Media team, who have brought you the Bits and Bytes column for the last six years. While the information Doug and his colleagues brought to the magazine was always informative and often entertaining, reader feedback has shown us that you want our content to be more focused on the reason for this magazine's existence: horses.
You spoke.
We listened.
Our 2007 survey brought us a number of interesting and exciting results, not the least of which was the realization that a significant portion of our readers ride English. As your all-breed, all-discipline resource for horse owners in the Northwest, we would be remiss to not take note. So...we are pleased to bring you our new, as-yet-untitled series of articles focused on English disciplines.
Next month, we'll begin with an overview of Hunters and Jumpers, followed by a more in-depth look at each of those disciplines in the September and October issues.
For now, please join us in thanking Big Fresh Media for a wealth of information, and wishing them the best in their current projects.
If you're missing Bits and Bytes already, don't fret! www.bigfresh.com offers news, articles and plenty of other information for those days you're at the computer instead of in the saddle.
