Penny Knight and Drag N Fly Ranch, of Terrebonne, Oregon, will sponsor a special program on the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity on RFD-TV. The program - featuring the association's premier event for 3-year-old horses, will appear on Wide World of Horses, and the show will first air Monday, November 3. Wide World of Horses airs each Monday night at 9:30 CST on RFD-TV - so it's just as close as your Dish or Direct TV satellite! RFD-TV (DIRECT TV 379 and DISH NETWORK 231 or 9409).  Each weekly program is run three times so the program also runs Mondays at 11:30 am CST and the following Sunday morning at 6:30 am CST. This provides ample opportunity for everyone to relive the exciting action of the prestigious Snaffle Bit Futurity.

NRCHA President, Lyn Anderson, looks forward to the opportunity to showcase the Futurity to the large RFD-TV audience. "Thanks to the sponsorship from Penny Knight and Drag N Fly Ranch a whole new section of the horse world will see this exciting event for the first time.  I believe we will see many more reined cow horse fans after they see the program." Drag N Fly owners Norm and Kim Pierce are enthusiastic supporters of the NRCHA and its events. Kim noted, "We're very excited about being involved with the NRCHA, and see this as a way to express our commitment to great horses and to the spirit of competition."

Drag N Fly Ranch, located in beautiful Central Oregon, is home to a group of exceptional reined cow horse performers and prospects. Under the guidance of
trainer Wes Chappell, Drag N Fly's Norm and Kim, along with Kim's sister, Penny Knight, have assembled a dynamic stallion roster that includes Drag And Fly, Im A Tuff Bueno, Smart Santana, Reed N Reminic and Starlighting. According to Chappell, the horses were carefully chosen to reflect Drag N Fly's desire to raise sound, trainable, beautiful performers with world-class pedigrees.

Drag And Fly Ranch has also assembled a brilliant broodmare band, with emphasis on performing mares. Recent additions include two NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Reserve Champions: Tangys Classy Lady (x Tangys Classy Peppy) and Gunnalena (x Playgun).

In addition to their sponsorship of reined cow horse and reining events, the Pierces are both enthusiastic reining competitors, and Norm was elected in January, 2008 to the Oregon Quarter Horse Association Board of Directors. Now, in its 8th year of broadcasting, RFD-TV serves the needs and interests of rural America, horse lovers, farmers & ranchers with traditional, family-oriented television programming. RFD-TV is distributed on DIRECTV, DISH Network, Mediacom, Charter, NRTC, Bresnan and NCTC cable systems in all 50 states, serving nearly 40 million U.S. homes, with another 19 million homes in Brazil now enjoying selected RFD-TV shows through Terraviva.

The National Reined Cow Horse Association, the governing body of cow horse competition, is responsible for promoting the sport, insuring high standards of competition and educating members and the public about the history and tradition of the cow horse. Through the support of a Corporate Partner family that includes Adequan(r), Wayne Hodges 4-Star Trailers and Outlaw Conversions, Bob's Custom Saddles, Cinch, Inc., Classic Equine, Gist Silversmiths, MD Barns, Platinum Performance, Inc., Nutrena, Quarter Horse News & Performance Horse magazine, the Peppermill Hotel/Resort, Fort Dodge West Nile Innovator, Rios of Mercedes, Merial products ULCERGARD and GASTROGARD, Great American Insurance Company and the Silver Legacy Hotel, the association works to keep the vaquero tradition alive in today's equine industry.
