Morton, IL- Highlights of both the 2007 Platform® American Miniature Horse National Championships and the 2007 Platform® Shetland Pony Congress will be aired in May and June on RFD-TV. The AMHR National Championship Show and The Shetland Pony Congress are the equivalent of the Super Bowl for Miniature Horses and Shetland Ponies.  The shows attract the top small equines from throughout the US. Last year's televised highlights from the shows are back on air just in time to get viewers hyped for the 2008 shows.

On Monday, May 26th at 7 PM central time RFD-TV will air the Platform@ American Miniature Horse Registry National Championships.  This exciting broadcast features some of the top Miniature horses from around the country, and includes exclusive footage from the judge's view, interviews with top trainers, and close up looks at America's top Miniature Horses "putting on the dog"!  The 2007 Platform® AMHR National Championships took place Sept 6-15th in Tulsa, Okalahoma.  Over 1500 miniature horses competed for over $50,000 in cash and prizes.  Many of the winners are featured on the TV show.

On Monday, June 30th at 7 PM central time RFD-TV will be airing the American Shetland Pony Club's special presentation of the 2007 Platform® Shetland Pony Congress Championships. The 2007 Shetland Pony National Championship Congress took place August 1 through August 6 at the Gordyville Arena in Gifford, Illinois.   The TV show on RFD-TV takes viewers' ringside as some of the nation's top Shetland Ponies battle it out for the National Championship titles. The show also takes viewers behind the scenes and includes interviews with judges, trainers, and competitors.
