ELITE ICELANDIC HORSE FARM ENJOYS LOW-MAINTENANCE BEAUTY WITH ECO-FRIENDLY FENCING FROM LIFETIME LUMBER®

Rutledge, Ga. May 13, 2008 – Leading breeder Katrin Sheehan has selected for her world-class Rutledge, Ga., Icelandic horse farm an environmentally friendly equestrian fencing product with all the beauty of wood and a fraction of the maintenance. LifeTime Lumber® is a durable, sustainable fencing material safe for Sheehan’s small purebred Icelandic horses and low maintenance for her self-managed farm.

LifeTime Lumber, manufactured by LifeTime Composites LLC, contains up to 65 percent post-consumer material composed of recycled fly ash – a byproduct from electric utility plants. LifeTime Lumber products conform to recycled content criteria under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System™. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

German-born Sheehan got her first Icelandic horse at the age of 11, and is known as an expert on the 1,000-year-old breed today. Sheehan’s vision is to get the Icelandic breed better known throughout America. She is breeding chairman for the United States Icelandic Horse Congress, and her high-quality horses compete in the Icelandic World Championships. Sheehan’s 70 horse, 245-acre Creekside Farm uses LifeTime Lumber for fencing in its pastures, paddocks and riding arenas.

“My vision for Creekside Farm was to create a full-scale Icelandic horse facility that could be effectively managed by one person. To fulfill this vision, I looked for quality equestrian products that look professional, yet are easy to maintain. In terms of fencing, LifeTime Lumber is just that product,” said Sheehan. “I also love that the fencing is durable, yet safe. I recently had some spirited young stallions sparring against the fence, and unlike wood – which can splinter – LifeTime Lumber broke cleanly without hurting my animals.”

Additionally, horses don’t crib on LifeTime Lumber like they will with regular wood or coated wood products. LifeTime Lumber is not affected by weather, and resists sagging, warping or becoming brittle during prolonged exposure to the elements like some wood or vinyl products. The product is offered in a range of colors including brown, as well as white, black, sage and gray. Each piece has a distinctive wood grain pattern that creates an aesthetically pleasing finished product.

“LifeTime Lumber’s beauty, low-maintenance properties and safety benefits make it ideal for equestrian fencing applications,” said Nisha Vyas Mahler, vice president, LifeTime Composites. “We are thrilled to have LifeTime Lumber be a part of the elite Creekside Farm facility.”

LifeTime Composites™ LLC manufactures and markets a revolutionary wood-alternative product for use in a range of applications including, fencing, decking and railings. Marketed under the LifeTime Lumber® brand name, this composite product is manufactured with a proprietary process and unique material blend that includes a reclaimed industrial byproduct. LifeTime Lumber products are considered “clean technologies,” as their use conserves forests. Available in a range of rich colors, LifeTime Lumber is easy to work with and has all the natural beauty of wood but without the regular maintenance.
