LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Modern Arabian Horse, the official magazine of the Arabian Horse Association (AHA), was awarded the 2007 Pegasus Award for Media as Equine Publication of the Year (Affiliate) and the prestigious Daniel P. Lenehan Memorial Trophy for Overall Excellence in Media by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) during their 2008 Annual Meeting. The honors were awarded by USEF President David O'Connor to AHA President Myron Krause January 10 at the Louisville Downtown Marriott.
Modern Arabian Horse becomes the first Arabian horse publication to be awarded the Daniel P. Lenehan Memorial Trophy for Overall Media Excellence. This is also the magazine's first Pegasus Award. The magazine was founded in 1979 and was redesigned in April 2007.
